We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and data-led Site Manager to lead the growth of Freebets.com, one of the UK’s most recognized sports betting affiliate websites.
This role involves leading content, SEO, and brand strategy to make Freebets.com a trusted, household name among sports bettors and a go-to resource for expert advice on betting. You will collaborate across CRO, Product, Design, PR, Social, and Email teams to enhance authority, relevance, and conversions across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
* Own and develop the site vision and roadmap, enhancing content, SEO, and branding performance.
* Build Freebets.com into a trusted brand through helpful, expert-driven content experiences.
* Implement impactful SEO strategies adaptable internationally and responsive to SERP changes and user intent.
* Use data to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and adjust tactics to increase traffic, engagement, and revenue.
* Coordinate with PR, Social, and Email teams to amplify brand presence and maintain a consistent voice.
* Collaborate with Product, Design, and CRO teams to improve user journeys, test ideas, and deliver seamless, high-converting experiences.
* Ensure content quality and trustworthiness, adhering to Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines and setting the site apart with original, insightful, user-first content.
* Develop monetization strategies, including promotional content, calls-to-action, and campaign planning with commercial teams.
* Manage, mentor, and expand a high-performing team across editorial, SEO, and content production.
* Shape the future of a major affiliate brand with global ambitions.

Requirements:
* Proven leadership in content or SEO roles within top affiliate, publisher, or betting brands.
* Strong brand-building skills with a track record of transforming content sites into trusted destinations.
* Experience delivering YoY growth in organic traffic and conversions.
* Deep understanding of Google's ecosystem, affiliate models, and effective content strategies.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, creative, tech, and marketing teams.
* Knowledge of sports and betting audiences, from casual to high-intent players.
* Comfort with data tools and analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.), translating insights into actions.
* Results-oriented leadership with mentoring skills.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
* Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience & Education:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in gambling, betting, or gaming industries preferred.
