Key Responsibilities
The Children’s Home Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of two residential homes.
Build and maintain effective partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Develop, support, and motivate a competent team across both locations.
The Children’s Home Manager will ensure both homes comply with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards, including Ofsted requirements.
Effectively manage the budgets and resources of both homes.
Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) - Desirable
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within residential care for children, with specific experience in caring for children with emotional and behavioural disorders as well as complex learning difficulties.
The Children’s Home Managerwill have strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and national care standards.
