Administration and Business Support - Amberley Care Home


Contract: Part Time


Salary: £12.94 Per Hour


Shift Type: Days


Contracted hours: 30 hours per week

Our luxury care home is situated in the beautiful, historic town of Sale, offering Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 72-residents.

We’re looking for a talented Admin Assistant to join our team and play a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations. If you’re excited by the prospect of handling various administrative tasks and contributing to a dynamic work environment, this role is for you! The successful candidate will work Monday - Friday, and will be able to cover Reception at weekends, as and when required.

* £12.94 per hour

* 5.6 Weeks Annual Leave (Based on a full-time contract)

What You'll Do

Payroll and Contracts: Manage employee payroll data and contracts with accuracy and confidentiality.
Schedule Master: Assist in arranging and coordinating staffing schedules to ensure smooth operations.
Frontline Communication: Handle telephone inquiries with professionalism and a friendly demeanour.
Update and Inform: Keep notice boards up to date with relevant information and announcements.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operational team to ensure that tasks and repairs are completed efficiently.
Meeting Minutes: Take detailed notes during meetings to capture key points and action items.
Office Duties: Perform general office tasks to support daily operations and keep everything running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

* Qualifications: GCSE English Language is essential.
* Tech Savvy: Proficient in spreadsheets, Microsoft Word/Works, Excel, Access, and email communications.

* Communication Skills: Excellent telephone manner and the ability to handle challenging calls or inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
* Organizational Talent: Demonstrated ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

* Clarity and Precision: Clear and concise communication skills to ensure effective information exchange.
