Radiology Department
The Radiology department is a busy unit providing Xray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services for the Emergency Department, In‑patients and Out‑patients. We provide 24/7 diagnostic services to the hospital using high‑quality, up‑to‑date equipment.
Working Hours
Candidates will work a combination of 7.5‑hour (5 days per week) or 9.25‑hour shifts (4 days per week) including regular weekend working.
Responsibilities
* Assist radiographers, nurses and radiologists during procedures as required.
* Provide patient‑focused care and advocate for patients when needed.
* Handle telephone enquiries from a variety of sources, prioritise workload and work unsupervised when necessary.
* Maintain a good level of general education and basic understanding of IT.
* Demonstrate good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Essential Qualifications
* 4 GCSEs grades A to C or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience in a clinical environment.
* Basic knowledge of IT programmes.
Desirable Qualifications
* Previous experience in a radiology department.
* NVQ level 2 or 3.
