Role Summary:
The Marketing Activation Executive is the engine room of execution, coordinating, implementing, and managing the day-to-day rollout of Gill Group's campaigns, marketing initiatives, and events. Reporting to the Brand Activation Lead, this role brings structure, follow-through, and hands-on delivery across all live activity. The ideal candidate will be organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple projects while maintaining alignment to timelines, messaging and visual identity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and optimise integrated marketing campaigns, launches and tactical initiatives as briefed by the Brand Activation Lead
* Content creation - develop compelling copy and graphics for websites, email marketing, social media, and paid campaigns.
* Manage project timelines, task dependencies, and delivery milestones, ensuring that artwork, copy and asset requests are delivered on time, to spec, and in line with brand standards
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure consistent execution and align marketing efforts with business goals
* Support the planning and delivery of trade shows, exhibitions, and field marketing activity
* Manage incoming marketing requests and keep shared plans and trackers updated
* Assist in briefing and managing freelance or agency support (e.g., graphic design)
* Maintain version control, usage records, and approval workflows across assets
Experience & Skills:
* 3-5 years in marketing coordination, campaign delivery or project management
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with hands-on experience with creative and content management tools
* Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Strong project management and organisational abilities, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work at pace and under pressure
* A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
KPIs:
* On-time and on-brand delivery of all campaign and marketing initiatives
* Demonstrated impact on company objectives (e.g. revenue growth / retention / brand awareness)
* Number and quality of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) generated from campaigns, and percentage converting to sales opportunities
* Growth in social reach, PR mentions, and engagement across key digital channels; increase in global brand recognition
* Reduction in missed deadlines or ad-hoc last-minute requests
* Clear planning and communication across stakeholders
