Your Role as Room Leader
As a Room Leader in our Little Blooms baby room, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility within the team.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
* Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential.
* Over 1 year of experience in Early Years – Essential.
* Over 6 months of experience in a senior position – Desirable.
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations – Desirable.
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS – Essential.
* Fluency in written and spoken English – Essential.
