Bookkeeper
Location: Chichester
Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
* Data entry, bank reconciliations, and maintenance of bank feeds
* Preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns (including margin schemes and other VAT schemes)
* Processing monthly CIS returns
* Preparation of management accounts
* Use of systems including Xero, Sage, Dext, and Hubdoc
* Ensuring adherence to internal workflows and strict deadlines
* Assisting with client registrations and government gateway setup
* Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required
Candidate Requirements
* AAT Level 4 qualified (essential)
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a UK practice
* Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
* Proficient in Xero and/or Sage (essential), with experience using Dext and/or Hubdoc
* Good understanding of VAT schemes, including CIS and margin schemes
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* strong communication and client-facing skills
* Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment
