Job summary
Do you have a passion for bringing joy, connection, and purpose to the lives of older adults? We are looking for a dedicated, dynamic Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team in the Staffordshire area. This for the provision of enriching experiences for the community residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and implementing engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the elderly.
What you'll do:
* Develop, Plan, Organise, and Deliver engaging activities, events, and social programs for people aged 65 and over.
* Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet a wide range of interests and abilities.
* Foster a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants.
* Work with families, volunteers, and community partners to expand opportunities for older adults.
* Collaborate with other care staff to ensure safe delivery of activities to the elderly with varied needs.
* Maintain records of participation and feedback to continually improve the activities offered.
About you:
* Friendly, energetic, and patient with excellent communication skills.
* Creative and resourceful in planning meaningful activities.
* Previous experience working with older adults (paid or voluntary) is desirable.
* Organised and reliable, with a genuine passion for improving wellbeing and reducing isolation.
* Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
* Passionate about working with seniors and committed to enhancing their quality of life through meaningful activities.

The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: £12.21-£16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
