Salary & Benefits:A starting salary of up to £30'200up to 24 days holiday plus bank holidaysSick pay schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree on-site car parkingExcellent training and development Roles & Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate production teams to ensure output meets quality and scheduling requirements.Assist with daily, weekly, and long-term production planning, ensuring resources and materials are allocated effectively.Monitor production areas and processes, resolving issues in real time to minimize downtime.Cover for the Operations Manager during periods of absence, maintaining continuity of operations and reporting as necessary.Ensure team adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.Provide leadership and motivation to production staff, including task delegation and on-the-job training.Support in implementing and maintaining continuous improvement initiatives across production.Liaise with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely dispatch.Ensure accurate completion of production records, including batch documentationIdentity, escalate, and help resolve any deviations or production inefficiencies.Support onboarding and training of new production staff.Assist with stock level checks and raw material availability to avoid production delays.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Prior experience in a supervisory role within a food production or manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of production workflows, planning, and people management.Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure, with good problem-solving skills.Confident communicator with a proactive and hands-on approach.Flexible and adaptable, with a readiness to step into wider operational roles when needed.Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and GMP is essentialIf you would like more information, please contact Kieran Russell.
