We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Harrow on a full-time, long-term basis. About the role SEN Teaching Assistant – High Needs Support Full-Time | Long-Term Position | Primary School | Harrow You will provide dedicated support to pupils with significant additional needs, which may include ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional and mental health needs. The role will involve working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals to implement tailored strategies and structured interventions. This is a hands-on role that requires patience, consistency, and the ability to respond calmly in challenging situations. Experience supporting pupils with high SEN needs is essential. What You Will Be Doing Delivering targeted one-to-one or small group support Implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Assisting with structured routines and sensory or intervention activities Monitoring progress and reporting back to teaching staff Promoting independence and inclusion within the classroom About the school The school is an inclusive and supportive primary setting with a strong focus on meeting the needs of all learners.
