Role Overview
This six‑month contract will play a key part in ensuring the smooth integration of CAD data into ETL's PDM system. You'll help maintain the continuity and accuracy of our design information by reviewing BOMs, CAD models, assemblies and drawings, checking data quality, and migrating files into PDM with the correct part numbers aligned to SAP.
You may also support the migration of SpacePath drawings into ETL's standard templates and borders, ensuring consistency across the business. Final outputs will be delivered to the purchasing folder in the required file formats.
Key Accountabilities

* Reviewing and uploading CAD data
* Investigate and resolve Eng.Change Notes.
Our ideal candidate
* The ideal candidate will be a detail‑driven CAD professional with strong experience working in PDM environments and a solid understanding of engineering documentation. They will be confident reviewing BOMs, assemblies, models and drawings, ensuring accuracy, consistency and smooth data migration.
* They should have hands‑on experience with CAD file structures, part numbering systems and change control, ideally within businesses that use SAP or similar ERP platforms. A methodical approach to validating data and spotting inconsistencies is essential.
* The right person will be organised, proactive and comfortable liaising with engineers, designers and stakeholders across multiple sites. They will bring a problem‑solving mindset, a commitment to data quality and the ability to manage a structured migration project within a defined timeframe.
* Experience adapting drawings into standardised templates will be an advantage, as will familiarity with PDM workflows and engineering documentation standards.
Location:
This role requires you to work on-site at our modern manufacturing facility in Hook, 3 minutes off junction 5 of the M3. Before applying, please make sure you can commute to Unit 4, Bartley Point, Osborn Way, Hook RG27 9GX
