Job Summary
Field Service Engineer – assisting customers in Cumbria or DG postcode area. Responsible for diagnosing and repairing forklifts and related equipment, maintaining preventive service schedules, and providing onsite support. Travel to customer sites in a company van.

Responsibilities
* Travelling to customer locations to service and repair Linde forklifts and other material‑handling equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maintain peak equipment performance.
* Conduct preventive maintenance checks and service fleet reliably.
* Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional support.
Qualifications
* Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, forklift technician, plant fitter or plant/vehicle technician.
* Knowledge of plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners preferred.
* NVQ Level3 (or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
* Comfortable with IT equipment for record‑keeping and ordering.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
