Lead Procurement Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Procurement Officer (Band 6) to join the NHS Grampian Procurement Team on a permanent basis.
Role Overview
The role will support the Procurement Team in delivering implementation of National framework agreements along with local contract development and savings across the Organisation. The post holder will be a forward thinking individual who will support all stakeholders in all aspects of procurement to achieve a high quality service and cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver implementation of national framework agreements.
* Develop local contracts and achieve savings across the organisation.
* Support all stakeholders in procurement to deliver high-quality service and cost efficiencies.
* Evidence experience of procurement processes and contract management, ideally within the public sector.
Additional Information for Candidates
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. A corresponding increase in the hourly rate will offset any pay impact.
