Think Recruitment are currently working with a busy consulting engineer who are looking to grow their Leicester team with the appointment of an additional Structural Engineer. Our client are looking to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer, ideally with a couple of years experience although junior candidates will also be considered, to play a role in the delivery of a variety of commercial, residential and heritage projects. On a day to day basis, the successful candidate will be involved in; Delivering projects with a detailed knowledge of structural design and detailing using all relevant UK and European codes of practice Producing preliminary design solutions and reviewing with clients as part of design strategy Producing detailed designs, calculations and specifications and technical reviews Attendance at design, project progress, and client engagement meetings Liaising with contractors, clients, third party organisations and stakeholders, answering queries in relation to technical detailing Design in all forms of construction including steelwork, reinforced / precast concrete, masonry and timber Structural appraisals of commercial, industrial and residential structures Produce sketches, drawings and writing structural appraisal reports This is an excellent opportunity to develop and progress your structural engineering career, so for full details please call or apply today...
