ROLE PURPOSE
Provide an outstanding and expert recruitment and HR service to the business. Adopting a coaching approach, collaborate with managers across the business to support the growth and development of their individual teams. Be the ‘go-to’ person for all things recruitment and HR related.
Principal Accountabilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company values, operations and employee engagement.
* Recruitment – manage end-to-end recruitment for all employed staff including candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
* Employee Relations – provide expert advice and support on employee relation issues (absence, disciplinaries, performance, etc.); lead on processes where required or offer coaching where more appropriate.
* HR Administration – prepare and manage employee documents and records (starter documents, HR system data, holiday/absence records, benefits portals, training records, DBS renewals, payroll instructions, etc.).
* Training – assess training needs and develop or source training materials to enhance skills and performance.
* HR Reporting – provide monthly HR reports to the SMT (turnover, absence, activities, training, etc.).
* Compensation and Benefits – maintain a pay and benefits program that is competitive and compliant with UK legislation.
* Legal compliance – ensure compliance with UK Employment legislation and company policies.
* Collaborate with the Associate Recruiter to maximise candidates and onboarding.
