Overview
Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in London, ON is looking for dedicated and experienced operators for the Winter Season. We have an impressive fleet of snow removal equipment featuring some of the newest models available in the market and we pride ourselves on providing the best landscaping and property management services for our clients year-round.
Responsibilities
* Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, loaders and back-hoes to lift/plow snow
* Practice safety in every move, estimate weights and distances, be fully aware of surroundings, minimize hazards and report injuries or damage immediately
* Start each workday with an inspection of tires, controls, fuel and fluids to ensure reliable operation; test operation of machines periodically
* Fix minor issues that might occur during the shift
* Maintain activity logs
Position details
* Experienced Operators for the following equipment:
*
o Cat loader/backhoe operators (Box pusher)
o 4x4 plow operators (G license minimum)
Mandatory requirements
* Proven snow removal experience as a machine operator; you will be required to demonstrate competency at time of interview
* Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
* Teamwork and communication skills
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
* On call for the Winter Season and able to respond with minimal notice
* Ability to operate heavy machinery cautiously and safely and ensure that no machinery issues go unnoticed
* Willingness to complete the internal training program
* Valid G license and to provide a Driver’s Abstract at time of interview (4x4 and salt truck operators only)
Compensation
Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
