The Role
As a member of the English department, you will:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, assess, and refine curriculum delivery.
* Support the learning of students with a range of abilities and needs, including those with SEN, through adaptive teaching and inclusive practices.
* Contribute to the wider school life, including extracurricular activities and literacy initiatives.
Requirments
* A Qualified Teacher with QTS and a degree in English or a related field.
* Experience teaching English at secondary level.
* A reflective practitioner with a passion for student progress and achievement.
* Someone who values inclusive education and can work effectively with students with additional learning needs.
* A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* DBS on the Update Service.
