Job Description
Credit Controller responsibilities include:
* Check customer credit and set payment terms.
* Keep track of customer payments and overdue invoices.
* Contact customers to remind them about unpaid bills.
* Record and match incoming payments to the right accounts.
* Work out payment plans for overdue accounts if needed.
* Send regular reports on unpaid debts and cash flow.
* Update account records and keep files accurate.
* Work with sales and finance teams to solve payment issues.
* Follow company policies and legal rules around credit and debt.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller will have:
* Previous Credit Control experience
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* High attention to detail and a levels of accuracy
* Previous knowledge of accounting software
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Positive can-do attitude
* Strong customer service skills
