Job Description
Service Care Solutions is working alongside a highly regarded law firm, based in the Warwickshire area, which is seeking a qualified and experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to manage a varied caseload of criminal matters, including police station attendances, Magistrates’ Court advocacy, and general criminal defence work.
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 (plus overtime with potential earnings between £60,000 to £80,000)
Key Responsibilities of the Duty Solicitor role:
* Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates’ Courts and, where appropriate, Crown Courts.
* Attend and manage Criminal Legal Aid Duty Solicitor rota slots.
* Provide accurate and timely legal advice and advocacy to clients.
* Contribute to the growth of the department through your own client following or business development, if applicable.
