What You'll Need to Get Started

* Two Years' Working History: You must provide evidence of your full working history for the last two years, or professional references to cover this period.
* Recent Clear DBS: A recent, clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required. We typically require a Basic DBS check, which discloses any unspent convictions and conditional cautions.
* Commercial Insurances: You must hold the appropriate commercial courier-related insurances to protect your business, the goods you carry, and the public.
* Goods in Transit (GIT): This insurance protects the items you are carrying against loss, theft, or damage while in your vehicle.
* Public Liability (PL): This covers you against claims for injury or property damage to a third party that occurs as a result of your work.
* Hire & Reward (H&R): This is a legal requirement for anyone transporting goods for payment and is a specific type of vehicle insurance that covers you while on a delivery job. Your standard private vehicle insurance will not cover this.
