We’re seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Reward Manager to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive employee benefits programme for our diverse workforce of approximately 8,500 individuals.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a dedicated team of two specialist benefits managers, focusing on creating employee-centric benefits that promote inclusivity and enhance retention. Your expertise will ensure the operational efficiency and governance of all benefits offerings, aligning them with AXA's strategic goals. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:
* Lead and mentor a team of two specialist benefits managers, focusing on guidance and professional development.
* Foster a collaborative team atmosphere to achieve departmental goals and connect with the wider Reward and People Teams.
* Design and implement a comprehensive employee benefits strategy aligned with business objectives and employee needs.
* Regularly assess and refine benefits offerings based on employee feedback, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
* Develop communication strategies to promote benefits offerings and enhance employee understanding and utilisation.
* Measure the effectiveness of benefits programs using data to make informed recommendations for improvements in satisfaction and retention.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, maintaining good governance practices and adjusting provisions as needed.
* Streamline benefits administration processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the employee experience.
* Manage relationships with benefits vendors, negotiate contracts, and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality service delivery.
* Prepare performance reports for senior management, analyse market trends, and maintain a profile in the employee benefits market to stay competitive.

What you’ll bring:
* Experience of working in employee benefits management is essential, ideally within the financial services sector.
* Demonstrable understanding of employee benefits legislation, compliance, and best practices.
* Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in HRIS and benefits administration software.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
