We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in a primary school in King's Lynn, supporting students aged 5-11 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including SEMH needs and complex learning difficulties.
These students have often experienced challenges in mainstream education and require consistent, patient, and understanding support to help them re-engage with learning and develop socially and emotionally.
The Role:

Supporting students on a 1:1 or small-group basis
*
Assisting with academic learning, emotional regulation, and behaviour support
*
Helping students access the curriculum in a way that meets their individual needs
*
Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support strategies
*
Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
*
Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or complex needs (education, care, youth work, or similar)
*
Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
*
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*
Ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and proactively
*
Passion for supporting vulnerable young people
