We’re currently recruiting for specialists to join our team on Wednesday 31st July.
We have 10 permanent full-time and part-time shift options on offer. See below for more information.
As part of your role, you will undertake 7 weeks of full-time, in-office training at our Newcastle office to ensure you are set up for success!
What you’ll do

* Taking incoming calls from our new and existing customers
* Providing information and product knowledge to identify the right level of insurance protection to meet the customers’ requirements
* Strive to make the complex simple whilst ensuring the customers’ needs are met
* Share your passion for motoring and provide a unique service to ensure your customers can drive or ride forward with confidence, knowing they are covered by Shannons

What you’ll bring

* High interest in developing your knowledge and generating ideas through innovative thinking
* High level of technical ability and navigating multiple systems
Shift Options
At Shannons, our contact centre operates from Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm and Saturday to Sunday 9am to 5pm.
We are recruiting for the following part-time and full-time shift options:
* Shift 1 - Full Time: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week - start window between 9am-11am
* Shift 2 - Part Time: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat – 30 hours per week – start window between 9am-12.30pm
* Shift 3 - Part Time: Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri - 22.5 hours per week - start window between 9am-11am
A start window means you will be on a roster to commence your shift anytime during these times. This will be a rotating roster, and you will be provided with these 4 weeks in advance.
Working From Home
In addition, Shannon’s offers a hybrid working model which allows you to find a balance between working from home and working from the office, while delivering your best work.
Please note, there is a 50/50 split between working from and working in the office.
You will be provided with a laptop; however, there are a few things you will require to work successfully from home such as:
* Home phone line or VOIP connection
* Internet connection
* Dual screens, mouse, and webcam
* Ergonomic setup with desk and chair in a quiet, private space
* Anti-virus software
