About the Company: Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Corby, is seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder to join their dynamic team. This role involves working on various projects across the UK, requiring travel and overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems and supports.
* Perform welding tasks using various techniques (TIG, MIG, Stick).
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
* Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the quality of work.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter/Welder.
* Proficiency in welding techniques (TIG, MIG, Stick).
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
* Valid driver's license.
