Salary: £36,363 - £39,862 per annum (Un-Progressed), £40,777 - £45,091 per annum (Progressed)

Foster a Future is the Councils fostering service, and they are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who can supervise Foster Carers caring for vulnerable children and young people, working in a trauma informed, solution focussed way to help support and maintain fostering arrangements.
Skills And Qualifications
* Sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989
* Be able to demonstrate creative thinking
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills
* Experience of working with children (Foster carers, parents and other professionals is highly desirable)
* Knowledge of therapeutic parenting models (Desirable)
* A good understanding of the Fostering Regulations, Guidance and National Minimum Standards 2011 (England)
* A relevant social work qualification, such as Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent
* A current Social Work England registration.
The Local Authority are committed to supporting your continued registration with Social Work England and will pay your registration fees for the year.
They will consider applications for progressed (N8) and unprogressed (N7) workers with relevant fostering experience but to apply for the progressed social worker role, you should have at least 2 years post qualifying experience and have achieved a Post Qualifying Award.
