About Us
We have created a new role within ACT Middlesbrough to support our focussed work with those who are rough sleeping in Middlesbrough. We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to lead our operational response to rough sleeping across the town. As Rough Sleeper Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing our rough sleeper officers, coordinating multi-agency efforts, driving innovation, and ensuring that individuals experiencing street homelessness receive timely, person-centred support.
You will be a dynamic and compassionate leader with:
Proven experience working with people experiencing homelessness or multiple disadvantage.
Strong understanding of the causes and impacts of rough sleeping.
Excellent partnership working and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to support the management of complex cases and navigate systems to achieve positive outcomes.
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and safeguarding.
This is an exciting time for Middlesbrough as we develop ACT (Accessing Change Together) which integrates council staff and partner organisations and provides a range of support and interventions in relation to service users who need support with housing support, homelessness, domestic abuse and substance misuse.
