The CatchUp Academy is a dedicated alternative provision seeking a proactive and supportive individual to join our sessions in a 2:1 support role. Your primary focus will be to assist the lead tutor, enabling them to deliver the highest quality session to our students. About the Role: This is not a tutoring role. You will be the crucial support to the tutor, working in a 2:1 ratio (you and the tutor supporting the student). You will help with practical tasks, classroom management, and facilitating engagement so the tutor can teach effectively. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct support to the tutor during session delivery. Help prepare and organise learning materials and resources. Support with in-session tasks, encouraging student focus and participation under the tutor's direction. Assist in creating a calm, positive, and structured learning environment.
