Job Description:
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing commercial contracts and ensuring their successful delivery on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Oversee and manage commercial contracts from inception to completion.
Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs to ensure they remain within budget.
Site Supervision: Ensure the successful delivery of contracts on site, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their requirements are met.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project progress, costs, and any issues that arise.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
Proven ability to deliver commercial construction projects
Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and their management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
