Project Manager – Water / Reservoir Infrastructure Location: Midlands, North West, or South West England Contract Type: Freelance or Permanent Rate/Salary: £450–£550/day (Freelance) | £70,000–£80,000 (Perm) Start: ASAP A leading Tier 1 contractor with a strong track record in regulated infrastructure is seeking a Project Manager to oversee high-profile reservoir and water resilience schemes. Current works include spillway replacements, dam safety enhancements, and flood prevention infrastructure in collaboration with national authorities and environmental bodies. Key Responsibilities: * Lead all phases of project delivery across multiple reservoir and water-based assets. * Manage programmes, budgets, quality, and safety compliance. * Interface with clients such as public water authorities and regulatory bodies. * Supervise multidisciplinary teams and ensure statutory reservoir safety standards are met. * Produce and review contract documentation, reports, and risk assessments. Requirements: * Background in civil engineering with significant leadership experience in water, flood defence, or environmental infrastructure. * Track record delivering under NEC contracts and CDM compliance. * SMSTS and valid CSCS required. * Confident working with stakeholders across design, commercial, and regulatory teams
