We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at Heathrow IRC, an Immigration Removal Centre located in West Drayton.
Heathrow IRC combines Colnbrook and Harmondsworth removal centres under one management structure, making it the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residents.

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Primary Care Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare to patients within the centre, supporting their health and well-being.
Hours:
Monday - Sunday, 9am - 5pm, based on 37.5 hours per week.
The mental health team consists of 9 members, working closely with the substance misuse and physiology teams, based in the healthcare department.
Salary:
This full-time position offers an annual salary between £44,863 - £53,172 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Additional requirements:

Main duties of the job
* Provide healthcare to patients, promoting health and well-being within the prisoner population.
* Work as part of an integrated primary and secondary care model.
* Manage assessments and caseloads for those referred to mental health services.
* Support your team in conducting comprehensive assessments, communicating treatment options, and developing care plans.
* Work independently and contribute to multidisciplinary team activities.

Qualifications and experience
* Current UK professional registration (NMC or HCPC)
* Experience working in mental health settings, including hospital, community, or prison environments (preferred but not essential)
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
