Overview
Our Planned & Major Works teams deliver a cyclical programme of improvements that enhance the quality and safety of our residents' homes. We have a new opportunity for an experienced Regional Programme Delivery Manager to join the Guinness team. This is a full-time, permanent role, based in our Bristol office. Your time will be split between on-site visits, office-based work, and some home working. As a Regional Programme Delivery Manager, your primary purpose will be to lead a team responsible for a large scale and multi-year planned investment programme within the South West region; where works will include planned works, and retrofit sustainability initiatives, whilst providing the highest level of customer service and maintaining building safety. You'll work closely with, and manage, external consultants and contractors under a long-term, Target Cost Model and Open Book Planned Partnering Contract (PPC) to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

That is why we are seeking someone with firsthand experience of delivering complex and high value asset investment programmes within a housing or public sector environment. You'll also be a confident leader with the ability to support and motivate a team of professionals, as well as develop positive working relationships with contractors and residents alike. You'll also be able to demonstrate:
* Project management experience delivering complex and high value asset investment programmes.
* Demonstrable commercial acumen and budget management of all aspects of large and multiple projects.
* Proven experience of providing excellent customer service, including consulting with residents as part of planned works.
* Experience of performance management and motivating a team of professionals.
* In depth knowledge and experience of building construction, repair techniques, building safety and retrofit to current legislation and regulations, including CDM regulations.
* Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and written, and have experience with writing reports at a senior level.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills and proven experience of successfully delivering major and complex projects as part of larger programmes
* Proven ability and experience to manage H&S obligations as Client and ensure the relevant duty holders are fulfilling their respective obligations.
* Knowledge of MS Office, housing and property management systems and an understanding of new technologies related to housing.
Essential Qualifications
* Level 6 Qualifications (Degree of Equivalent) in Building, Construction, Surveying or similar.
* MRICS or MCIOB and/or member of similar professional body
