We are currently recruiting for a full time Senior Investment Manager on a permanent contract based in our EdinburghOffice (Hybrid Working).
The primary purpose of this post is to work as part of the Investment Team to manage and deliver investment activityacross the Scotland including assessing and monitoring a wide range of projects in particular those that arecomplex and large scale; post completion work; providing advice and guidance to applicants ; supporting thedelivery of the Scotland team plan and contributing to the wider work of the Scotland team.

Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS) is the National Development Body for Scotland’s museums and galleries. We are looking for a Senior Museum Development Manager to work with the Head of Museum Development to facilitate andsupport development across the sector in line with Scotland’s Museums and Galleries Strategy. The strategyprovides a framework for the sector and MGS to work to ensure the future relevance and resilience of the sector.It centres around three thematic strands of Connection, Resilience and Workforce.
You will have significant knowledge and understanding of the Scottish museums sector and current issues facing it inorder to articulate the needs of the sector and turn that into action. Key to this role is direct engagementwith museums and galleries in Scotland to build an understanding of diverse development needs. You will buildstrategic relationships, initiate development programmes and identify funding opportunities, workingcollaboratively to deliver impactful programmes and projects.
You will also have experience of addressing barriers to inclusion and driving positive change, with an understandingof anti-racism and anti-oppression in order to lead MGS’s work to support museums to become more inclusive.
As part of MGS’ senior management team, you will build and nurture effective working relationships across theorganisation. You will manage a team of staff within the wider Museum Development Team.

The primary purpose of this post is to work as part of the Engagement Team to manage and deliver engagement withstakeholders and potential applicants across Scotland to deliver Hertiage 2033, Heritage Fund's 10 yearstrategy. This post will: stimulate and support the flow of good quality applications; work with stakeholders inorganisations, agencies and local authorities; support our emerging work in our Heritage Places, and plan andimplement outreach strategies targeted at Heritage 2033 priorities. The post will also contribute to the widerwork of the Scotland team and Engagement function.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Strategic Partnerships team, working in partnershipwith one of five local councils to facilitate a strategic approach to active travel infrastructure developmentand delivery in the council area, as well as providing support with active travel policies and proposals for thecouncil's planning and pipeline projects.
As Senior Project Officer, your time will be split between working on council projects and Sustrans specific tasksrelated to the Strategic Partnerships Team objectives.
We have 5 positions working with one of the following councils:
West Dunbartonshire Council
East Ayrshire
Aberdeen City Council
Each council will have a different approach to active travel, and you will be working across services within thecouncil structure.
This role will involve regular travel most weeks. The focus of this role are the above Council areas; we mayoccasionally need you travel further during the course of your work including occasional visits to SustransOffices and overnights stays.
About you
You should have experience in (at least) one of the following: transport planning, land use planning, urban design,traffic engineering, sustainable transport project delivery. You will also be experienced in working withpartners across various teams, and able to build strong working relationships.
You should have the ability to work independently and be able to make decisions with minimal supervision, as well ashave excellent report writing skills.
We ask you demonstrate knowledge of the funding context for active travel in Scotland.

The Role
Your contribution will be vital in shaping both the long-term strategic vision and the day-to-day operational plansof the organisation. You'll assist in managing resources effectively and participate in evaluating andreporting on the outcomes of these plans.
Your responsibilities will extend to making strategic and operational decisions, ensuring effective implementationwith the appropriate resource. You'll play a key role in developing policies related to smoking, health, andwellbeing, taking the lead on some and supporting others as needed.
Another important aspect of the role involves cohesive communication within the organisation and across teams,helping to ensure that information flows smoothly and effectively. Additionally, you'll be engaging withexternal stakeholders, managing relationships and partnerships on behalf of ASH Scotland, whilst identifying anddeveloping opportunities to generate income and secure funding for the organisation.
