Training Coordinator - Workington, Cumbria (Onsite)
Our client is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to support the delivery of high‑quality, fit‑for‑purpose training across multiple business areas. This is a six‑month contract role based in workington Cumbria, requiring full‑time onsite working and offers the opportunity to contribute to safety‑critical, highly regulated programmes.
Job Overview
As a Training Coordinator, you will play a central role in analysing training needs and designing, developing and implementing SAT‑derived learning solutions. Working to agreed schedules, you will ensure all training materials meet internal procedures and quality standards, while supporting operational and project priorities. This Training Coordinator role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments and enjoys collaborating with subject matter experts to deliver effective learning outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
Analyse, design, develop and implement SAT‑derived training materials in line with agreed schedules
Deliver training development activities across multiple business areas, rather than a single function
Support programme and project requirements, adapting plans in line with business priorities
Conduct training pilots and refine materials based on feedback
Deliver training courses where required, using materials developed by yourself or colleagues
Complete post‑training evaluations and respond constructively to feedback
Participate in audits, peer reviews and evaluations
Coach subject matter experts in the use and delivery of developed training materials
Share best practice and support colleagues in applying SAT methodologies and organisational standards
Attend role‑specific eventsRequirements (essential)
Proven experience in training design and content development
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths graded A - C
Strong ability to analyse training needs and create engaging learning materials
Experience working in regulated, compliance‑driven or safety‑critical environments
Confident user of digital systems such as learning management platforms and core business tools
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsReasonable Adjustments
