Clearing Applicant Support Operator Admissions Location: Canterbury Salary: £11.94 Grade: National Minimum Wage Post Type: Part Time Contract Type: Release Date: Wednesday 10 April 2024 Closing Date: 23.59 hours BST on Friday 12 July 2024 (unless otherwise stated) Reference: CSF-896-24 We are currently recruiting a number of Clearing Applicant Support Operators on a short term timesheet basis to assist the university with the delivery of Clearing. Clearing is an opportunity for applicants to apply to places at the university once they have received their results, therefore the role will involve taking applications and enquiries over the phone, as well as providing excellent customer care to applicants at all stages of the Admissions and Registration process. You will need to be educated to a level (or equivalent), have good customer service skills and excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Important information: The roles will be located at our Canterbury Campus There will be mandatory training weeks held from Monday 1st July or Monday 29th july, depending of the start date selected. You will be paid for attending the weeks. There will be mandatory online training which must be completed prior to attending your training week. You will be paid for completing this training. After the mandatory training weeks, work will be allocated on a Rota basis between 8am and 8pm Monday to Sunday from the 15th of August until the 30th of September Prospective applicants should note that there are a limited number of vacancies, and the department may choose to select applicants on a first come first served basis.
