Newbury Manor School is seeking an outstanding Teacher to join our team on a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and committed individual to enhance our pupils' learning experiences. The successful candidate will teach and support young people with autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and associated complex needs. Applicants should be qualified teachers (QTS) or experienced unqualified teachers.

About the School:
Located in a Georgian manor house near Frome, Somerset, Newbury Manor School caters to young people aged 7 to 19 with ASD. We offer a tailored environment supporting a wide range of needs, fostering safe, secure, and predictable surroundings that promote social, academic, physical, and spiritual development, helping pupils build self-esteem and self-belief.
Role Responsibilities:
* Carry out duties in line with the latest School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
* Teach classes, ensuring planning, assessment, and reporting meet students' diverse needs.
* Utilize appropriate teaching strategies for students with SEN.
* Provide timely reports to stakeholders, including SLT, governors, and parents.
* Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress.
* Uphold the school's ethos and core values inside and outside the classroom.
* Collaborate with key workers and therapeutic teams to follow care plans and develop schemes of work.
* Maintain high standards of professional practice and safeguarding.
