The general hours of work are 40 hours per week, guaranteed. Night shifts are Sunday to Thursday 8pm - 5am, day shifts are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm, with the option of overtime. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.

About the Role
UDP is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (C+E) driver to join our team at the Shotts depot, Scotland. This is a full-time, hands-on role suitable for someone with a background in the military, construction or agriculture who enjoys variety and responsibility in their work.
You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of plant and safety barrier materials to and from various sites. The role involves both day and night shifts, depending on workload, and requires a level of physical fitness to assist with loading and unloading.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who not only holds an HGV Class 2 licence but also brings a positive, can-do attitude to the job. Here’s what makes a great candidate:
Must-Haves
* Valid Class C+E licence
* Eligibility to work in the UK, unsponsored
* Digi card and full Driver CPC
* HGV driving experience
* No more than 6 penalty points
* Skilled in using ratchet straps
* CPCS Health and Safety card
* Punctual, with strong communication skills
* Flexibility to work shift patterns – days, nights and weekends
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience with Hi-AB (lorry loader hook)
* Familiarity with Clamshell bucket operations
* Excavator experience
