Overview
We are looking for a motivated, caring Relief Support Worker to provide person-centred support to 12 service users with learning disabilities and complex needs in Wythenshawe. This is a fantastic service which enables great outcomes for the people we support.
We offer a range of flexible hours to suit you and your family. As a Creative Support Bank Staff member you will also have access to our free app which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country, provides information on the service and shifts as well as directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support to 12 service users with learning disabilities and complex needs in Wythenshawe.
* Support service users with daily activities to promote independence and wellbeing.
* Work in a warm, person-centred way and contribute to a positive, inclusive service environment.
* Assist with planning and participating in activities (e.g., outings, swimming, church, etc.) as appropriate to the service user’s interests.
* Adhere to service policies, maintain records, and communicate effectively with the team.
Requirements
* Minimum of twelve months employed experience of working with people with a learning disability is essential.
* Warm, person-centred approach to working with people with a learning disability.
* Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to travel to the service location.
