We’re currently working with a small, welcoming primary school in the Widnes area, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a close-knit school community where your contribution will have a real and lasting impact.
About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support children both academically and emotionally. You may be working with small groups or providing 1:1 support, helping pupils access the curriculum and feel confident in their learning.
Responsibilities
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
* Supporting pupils in English, Maths, Science and other core subjects.
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive routines.
* Preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
* Monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staff.
* Fostering a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
* Encouraging independence, confidence and emotional well-being.

Pay
From £13.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
