Maintenance Engineer - Swindon, Wiltshire
£48,000 - £50,000
Monday - Friday, Double Days

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products of exceptional quality. With a strong order book and over £9 million invested in the factory and growth into various export markets, they are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Conduct planned maintenance inspections and review parts used
* Recommend improvements aligned with projects and maintenance schedules
* Perform safety checks on a range of equipment
* Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery
* Generate and maintain compliance with SOPs and risk assessments
* Report on plant performance using systems and ensure action on non-conformance issues
* Work on boilers, steam boilers, ammonia equipment, valves, and pumps
* Support production and continuous improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or Apprenticeship trained
* Continuous improvement knowledge
* Strong understanding of good engineering standards
* Experience in food, packaging, drink, or manufacturing environments
