Job Description
Our client, a well-regarded commercial law firm, is looking to grow their Aviation sector team by appointing a junior/mid-level Aviation Finance Associate of 1 or more years’ PQE to join the team in London. To be successful in this role, previous experience in commercial aircraft trading, leasing and financing (with substantial experience acting for lessors and airlines) and cross border transactions is necessary. Further, it is important to have a passion for aviation and be open to working on aviation commercial agreements, as and when required. The Aviation Sector Group gives expert advice on all the specialist legal issues that arise across the whole of the aviation sector. The role will involve: • working on non-contentious aviation/transactions (predominantly trading, leasing and financing) • Working on a wide range of aviation commercial, leasing and financing deals • and, acting for airlines, leasing companies, financiers and other organisations within the aviation industry.
Experience of assisting on complex aircraft finance/aviation commercial matters (at an appropriate level) gained within a comparable environment is important, as well as having an understanding of the aviation industry.
