Looking for a role where you can make a real difference, every single day? This might be just your thing.
We’re looking for confident, compassionate Learning Partners to support children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis in a friendly primary school in Mangotsfield. You won’t be on the sidelines here, you’ll be right at the heart of the classroom, helping a child feel settled, supported, and ready to learn.
The role at a glance:
* Mangotsfield
* ⏰ 8:30am – 3:30pm, proper school hours
* £14.25 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE, no umbrella hassle
* 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be that calm, consistent presence a child can rely on. The one who notices the little things, steps in at the right moment, and helps turn tricky situations into positive ones. From supporting learning to helping manage emotions, you’ll play a big part in shaping their school day.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
* Confidence with behaviour and building strong, trusting relationships
* A calm, positive mindset, even when things get a bit busy
* Someone who’s patient, empathetic, and up for the rewarding challenge
What you’ll get in return:
* Weekly PAYE pay, no hidden extras
* FREE access to our CPD Academy
* Ongoing training, including Team Teach and Thrive
* A dedicated consultant who’s got your back
* Opportunities to grow in roles where you’re genuinely valued
You’re not “just” support staff. You’re the steady hand, the friendly face, the person who helps a child feel safe and capable. And that matters more than anything.
Sound like your kind of role? Let’s get you into a school that really values what you bring.
