Role and Location

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Assessment, Care Management and Review Team based in Cunninghame House, Irvine. We are seeking a Social Work Assistant (Grade 8) on a full-time, permanent contract. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in undertaking needs led assessments, devising interventions while responding to and managing risk. An understanding of the current pressures experienced in Health and Social Care sector is essential as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This role will require the successful candidate to work in a multi-disciplinary setting; to consult with service users and their representatives to ensure their needs and rights are promoted while practicing within policy and legislative frameworks. Experience of working with Older People and Adults with Physical Disabilities is desirable.
