Blue Arrow are recruiting for Picker / Packers for a large distribution site based in Rochdale.
Canddiates must have some previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
Duties Include:
* Locate and pull customer orders from warehouse shelves using order sheets, scanners, or handheld devices.
* Verify product numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure accuracy.
* Handle products carefully to avoid damage.
* Prepare items for packing, staging, or shipping.
* Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
* Inspect picked items for quality, damage, or defects before packing.
* Pack items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, pallets, etc.).
* Label and tag packages with correct shipping information.
* Seal and prepare packages for dispatch or courier pickup.
* Update order status in warehouse management systems (WMS).
The working hours will be Monday - Friday 8am-4pm, however you will sometimes be expected to work until 5pm.
The pay rate is £12.21 per hour
