Lead a Growing Supported Living Service
We’re recruiting a passionate and experienced Support Manager to lead a supported living service in Harrogate, supporting 10 adults to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.
This is a key leadership role within a values-driven charity, ideal for someone who combines strong care knowledge with confident team leadership.
About the Role
As Support Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, and compliance of the service. You’ll lead a staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that enables individuals to achieve greater independence and live fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
* Leading, motivating, and developing a team of support staff
* Ensuring person-centred care and support is delivered consistently
* Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and outcome reviews
* Managing rotas, staffing, and staff performance
* Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards
* Promoting independence, community access, and life skills for the people supported
* Building positive relationships with families, professionals, and commissioners
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident leader with a strong background in adult social care.
Essential
* Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care
* Previous leadership or senior care experience (Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager, etc.)
* Experience in supported living, learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs
* Solid understanding of safeguarding and person-centred approaches
* Full UK driving licence – must be a driver
* Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
Desirable
* Experience with CQC inspections and compliance
* Experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern or complex needs
