Long Term Futures is currently recruiting a committed Primary Teaching Assistant to become part of a welcoming school setting located within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames area.

This vital support position involves specialising in the academic and developmental needs of young students, predominantly within Early Years (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1). We are dedicated to placing staff into consistent, ongoing positions that often progress into permanent contracts. To ensure a smooth recruitment process, we frequently use short paid working interviews instead of formal interviews to confirm mutual suitability.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering essential one-to-one and small group support to primary-aged pupils.

Actively promoting positive behaviour and nurturing social skills.

Contributing to the enhancement of pupil engagement and self-confidence.

Engaging in a proactive collaboration with class teachers regarding learning objectives and tracking student progress.

Essential Requirements

Mandatory prior experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant is required.

Proven background supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1.

Possessing a naturally supportive and encouraging demeanour when mentoring young pupils.

Excellent capacity to establish quick rapport with children, colleagues, and parents.
