Abbots Care is an award‑winning domiciliary community care provider in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of outstanding. Within the role as the Care Coordinator, you are required to manage the organisation and delivery of care. You will manage a team of care assistants to support our service users in their own home to provide person centred care. This role is more than just rota management. You will be a part of our operational team, who ensure that we provide outstanding quality care is delivered consistently to our service users.


The role:

* Rostering and daily management of Care Staff who are based in the community
* This position requires evening shifts from 1.30pm to 10pm each day, 5 days a weekandAlternate weekends.
* Working with multi-disciplinary teams and professional bodies to ensure outstanding care is delivered and to positively promote our services.
* Complete quality calls with care staff and service users
* Provide reports to senior management as and when required
* Provide support to our teams as part of a rostered‑on call system
* Manage referrals from commissioners and local authority
* Ensure full capacity is utilised.


Person Specification:

* Experienced Co‑ordinator / scheduler doing coordination and rota management
* We are looking for someone who is vibrant, self‑motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of vulnerable people
* Drive and Resilience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, you’ll be comfortable on the phone as you are writing emails
* Experience of working in a faced paced environment and flexible
* Strong attention to detail and be a completer/finisher
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Holding a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.

* Experience within the care sector
