Responsibilities
- Respond professionally to new enquiries assigned to you
- Carry out assessments of potential new customers' needs; conduct risk assessments; write and review Care Plans
- Ensure that Care is being delivered to a consistently high standard in adherence to agreed Care Plans and Bluebird Care's policies and procedures
- Respond swiftly to any requested changes to Care Plans, or when changes in needs become apparent
- Ensure that any concerns, complaints or identified training needs are reported back to the Registered Manager; participate in any investigations as directed and ensure that any resulting action points are implemented
- Ensure that Live-in Care Assistants feel well-supported; play a proactive role in mentoring less experienced members of staff
- Ensure that Care Assistants have appropriate information and guidance to provide the care and support agreed in the Care Plan safely and effectively
- Where necessary, help plan the schedule of Live-in Care rosters, which are usually set 3 months in advance
- Ensure that Live-in Care Assistants are aware of their individual schedules, the travel arrangements and when to arrive at the beginning of each placement for the handover from the outgoing carer
- Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota
