We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded, independent specialist day school rated "Good" by Ofsted. The school provides high-quality education for pupils across Key Stages 1-3, focusing on learners with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory processing issues, and associated behavioural challenges.
About the Role:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
* Build meaningful, supportive relationships with pupils
* Help create a safe and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils individually, in small groups, and across whole-class settings
* Adapt learning activities to suit a diverse and dynamic curriculum
* Work collaboratively to help each child reach their full potential
What You'll Need:
* Experience working with or caring for children (voluntary or paid) - references required
* Prior experience with SEN (desirable)
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
