The Undergraduate Laboratory R&D scientist Placement for Cytiva is responsible for testing support for the development and innovation of new Laboratory products This position is part of the R&D Discovery located in Harbourgate, Portsmouth, UK and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. What you will do: Executing protocols/testing in Biochemistry (protein analysis), Molecular Biology (DNA / RNA extraction), Microbiology (cell cultures),, to characterise Cytiva Life Science products Troubleshooting protocols as necessary Generating and interpreting data to assign tasks for projects Writing technical reports and presentations Compliance with H&S requirements Who you are: Undergraduate, currently in the process of obtaining, a minimum of a BSc in Biochemistry (or related Scientific discipline) It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Biochemistry Work in Lab environment This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
