Hydro Mechanical Services Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Plumbing and Heating Installer Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be NVQ Level 2/3 qualified and responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and heating equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires expertise in communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving to deliver an exceptional service to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
* Diagnose and resolve issues with heating systems such as boilers, radiators, air conditioning units and underfloor heating.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems meet safety and performance standards.
* Carry out emergency repairs and provide technical guidance to clients.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers on larger installations.
* Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Stay updated on industry regulations, health and safety requirements and best practice.
* Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent certification.
* Proven experience as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer.
* Strong knowledge of heating systems, boilers, air conditioning and plumbing installations.
* Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Full UK driving license necessary for travel to client sites.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
